The New Hanover Republican Party believes that Core Values are the foundation for a highly successful organization. Core Values help provide purpose, priorities and passion for doing the “right things right”. Decision making is made easier when an organization makes visible what it believes and values. Listed below are our Core Values.  

 

1. INTEGRITY—We value INTEGRITY because we want to be recognized for being professional, honest, fair and doing the “right thing right” regardless of the consequences.
    

2. COMMUNICATIONS—We value COMMUNICATIONS that are open, honest and respectful because they lead to trust, to respect, and eventually to credibility.  We welcome feedback as a “precious gift”, both positive and negative, which can enable this organization to constantly improve.
    

3. FAITH AND FAMILY VALUES— We value faith because our nation was birthed in a spirit of faith.—not a prescriptive faith telling us how or whether to believe, but acknowledging a providence that prevails our world. The First Amendment requires that expressions of faith be neither prohibited nor preferred.    We value  families because we believe that our nation’s strength lies within the family. The family is where each new generation gains its’ moral character. It is the school of good citizenship, the engine of economic progress and a haven for security and understanding.
    

4. RELATIONSHIPS—We value RELATIONSHIPS with various groups, individuals and each other because it is important that we work together by communicating, coordinating , collaborating and concentrating on matters/issues that enable all of us to achieve our vision and mission and goals.    
    

5. EDUCATION AND TRAINING—We value EDUCATION AND TRAINING initiatives because they are major efforts for helping all stakeholders advance the principles and values of the party.
    

6. VOLUNTEERS—We value VOLUNTEERS because their active involvement and participation on the Executive Committee,  Standing Committees, Ad Hoc Committees, Campaigns and on other Entities provide new, different and better ideas for the party
    

7. ACCOUNTABILITY—We value ACCOUNTABILITY because it builds confidence and credibility in our organization when we deliver what we promise and take responsibility for our behavior, actions and outcomes.
    

8. JUSTICE—We value the importance of government maintaining law and order: thereby allowing citizens freedom to pursue the blessings of life and liberty.
